e-Health

The North West and North East LHINs, together with health service providers in the north, collaborated to move the health system forward using the knowledge and capacity resulting from the Northern Ontario Information and Communications Technology (ICT) three phase Blueprint Planning Project:

1. Northern Ontario eHealth ICT Phase One Plan identified the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) needs and strategies of health service providers.
2. Northern Ontario eHealth ICT Phase Two Plan assessed the current state of ICT in the broader health system throughout Northern Ontario.
3. Northern Ontario eHealth Tactical Plan created a tactical plan outlining the priority projects necessary to effectively implement e-Health ICT in the northeast and northwest. (Please note the links in this document are outdated.)

North West LHIN eHealth Project Management Office

The North West LHIN has established a Project Management Office (PMO) to plan, implement and monitor eHealth initiatives across Northwestern Ontario. You can contact the PMO at nwpmo@lhins.on.ca.
